After a well-deserved break and a fantastic Week of Samples, I dove back into my writing this week and felt like I never skipped a beat. The words that came out of me today flowed with elegance and ease and I am glad I decided to take my break. It also helps that I could finally crawl into the right side of the bed last night (literally and figuratively) so I got a really good sleep and woke up more spritely than I have all year.

Reality – Chapter One
The last of my non-published samples for this week comes right from the eclectic novel, Reality. Few people have laid eyes on any part of this novel save for the small samples I put up each week. That is why I hope this excites you.
Eden – The Prologue Chapter
Eden uses a different approach to Novel Writing. Instead of using dedicated chapters for specific events, I chose to use sections to encompass a variety of events, as well as to show where the story really changes. The Prologue is innocent enough and not much happens, but it is a beautiful component of my writing. Enjoy.
Crucible – Chapter One
Crucible is the third in the week of samples, yet it distinguishes itself right off the bat when compared to Ascension or Crow. I do not know what endears me to the open of Crucible, but I find it sets the world and story up with absolute perfection. Enjoy the opening chapter.
Crow – Chapter One & Chapter Two
The second installment of my week of samples comes courtesy of the inimitable Crow. While shorter than the sample of Ascension, the purpose is the same. The two chapters set up the basics of the world and the strange open leaves the reader wanting more. Enjoy 🙂
Ascension – Chapter One: Ambush
As part of my break this week, I promised my audience that I would post a sample from each of my books for their respective days. I start with the first book in my queue, Ascension. The first chapter from it is Ambush and it serves as the entire backdrop to the entire novel. I hope you enjoy.
A Week Of Samples… and Ceremonies.
What should every author do every so often? It is an important thing in everyone's life.
